Use your Logo Consistently and Wisely (no stretching, pulling, font substitutions, poor resolution a

Businesses of all types and sizes have to compete in their niche markets. Therefore a memorable logo becomes essential to business owners for driving new customers and to keep current customers equally pleased to have used your services. A unique logo is perhaps the most visible element of a business.

Unique logos make an impression. We all know how important it is to make a first impression on the people we meet. This also holds true in business. Business owners from start-ups to larger scales, make it a priority to leave a good impression on their target audience.

Every business has a logo to represent its values and attributes in the market and public. But not all logos are capable of taking the business effectively to the people. Design of a logo usually plays a major role in the marketing of an organization and its business in the ever-competitive market.

As graphic artists and sign manufacturers, we cannot stress enough the importance of using your logo consistently wherever you’re featuring it. Do not allow anyone to alter it on you. Be strong, be brave and speak up. I love the quote, “Everytime you stretch a font, somewhere, a designer cries” and it is so true. When I flip through magazines and see ads where logos have been altered, I want to call the business and offer them a tissue to cry into. Why? Ad space, like many other marketing ventures, cost money and altering your logo in any form (shape and colour) is doing a disservice to you and your company and creating a blip in your marketing consistency. Consistency is powerful. Do it with grace and style.
